Interview with Kendra Woods

How long have you been doing what you do and how did you get to be a Transformational Human Design + Business Mentor?

To answer this question, it’s probably best that I share with you a defining moment and resulting story that brought me to where I am today, guiding women just like you towards deeper self understanding through Human Design and guiding you on exactly what to do to get out of your head and into confident aligned action in your life and business.

That defining moment in my life happened in mid 2016. Several years prior to this I was suffering with anxiety, depression, sickness in my body and I had gained about 20 extra pounds.

I was at work one day when I had a full blown anxiety attack in front of my 60+ staff and the doctors that I was working with. My body, mind and soul was so depleted by this that I stayed in bed for two days straight just trying to get energy back in my body. I knew something had to change but I wasn’t entirely sure what that was exactly.

Fast forward a bit and I was still working in a career that I didn’t enjoy and I knew that it wasn’t the place for me. I knew that I was being called to something greater but my fear of the unknown outweighed the wisdom within me that said I needed to go.

My fear of the unknown, feelings of inadequacy, self-doubt and feeling like at any minute my boss was going to realize that I wasn’t as qualified (even though I was) as she thought I was for the job led me straight into being asked to resign from my position in the summer of 2016.

At that very moment when I was asked to resign I made a commitment that I would no longer allow fear to rule my life and that I would walk in my divine purpose by helping other women.

Two months prior to this happening I had just launched my coaching business and I decided to immerse myself in getting the help I needed to grow my business and in getting the help I needed to shift my mindset into a place that would support me in achieving success in my new venture.

Within that first year of immersing myself in personal growth + mindset work + learning how to get my business off the ground I created my Signature program and several other courses and programs to help other women let go of the secret feelings they had of being a fraud.

I worked with my first clients and helped them overcome their limiting beliefs and learn how to overcome the impostor feelings that were holding them back from greatness and living in their purpose.

I helped these women realize their full potential and as a result they went on to leave careers that were unfulfilling and find work that lit them up, they created businesses they were proud of and designed lives that allowed them to feel fulfilled.

Fast forward a few years and in the fall of 2019 I was introduced to an amazing awareness tool called Human Design. I learned that I am a Splenic Projector and this took me down the rabbit hole of learning everything there was about being a Projector Frequency Type.

Everything in my career and life made total sense as I began to understand myself on this genetic level. So much changed for me not only internally but also externally in my life and business. I began to show up in my business from a deeper place of alignment and purpose, I up leveled my income as a result and I knew I had to bring this to my community and my clients.

After receiving concrete proof that my work as a Transformational Human Design + Business Mentor positively changes the lives of women I have since made the commitment to dedicate the rest of my professional life to helping other professional women and business women get out of their heads, into alignment with their gifts and strengths and into confident action.

I have become obsessed (in the best way) with helping women articulate their inner feelings, understand themselves on a powerful level and educating them on what the Impostor Experience is all about. What I have learned is that so many women in the world are suffering in silence and carrying this secret (like I once was) and it is eating away at their level of fulfillment and confidence.

I am here to bring this into the light and let other women know that they are not alone and that I can help them change their mindset and help them re-believe in themselves again.

Since I first launched my business 2016 I have worked with many private clients, given dozens of Human Design Readings, spoken in front of countless audiences and have birthed my Signature Experience called Prosperous Projector Paradigm – a 12 month personal power, embodiment and business transformation journey that every woman, who desires to live out her purpose by taking confident action towards their vision, needs.

What happens if you haven’t yet worked with people in my field?

It’s okay if I haven’t yet worked with people in your field, you are not at a disadvantage, quite the contrary. Here’s why: most women in your field are probably feeling the same way you feel but they haven’t mustered up the courage to seek out help or they don’t even realize that what they are feeling has a name. And regardless of industry the feelings of self-doubt and being worried that someday your boss or client(s) is going to ‘find you out’ is universal to a wide range of careers and businesses. The internal challenges are the same. It’s just that the environment is different. What my current and former clients have found exceedingly helpful is that I create a warm, non-judgmental space for them to be able to safely work through their internal environment giving them a fresh new perspective and understanding of self.

How are you different from other “Transformational Human Design + Business Mentors?”

Although we will touch upon setting life goals and creating clarity around your values and other “life coach-y” things, you have me as a Human Design, Mindset, Business and Impostor Syndrome expert. I ONLY work with professional women who are entrepreneurs or have an entrepreneurial spirit. These women are Projectors who desire to be seen, heard and recognized for their value and wisdom. So what this means to you is that I am very focused on anything and everything that helps Projector Entrepreneurs believe in themselves and confidently take their seat at the table. Because my focus is very narrow, what you get with me is no-nonsense, undiluted expertise on what works for professionals like you. I’ve simply become an expert at this stuff and that’s why my clients, groups and customers get great results. (And I throw in a healthy dose of love, inspiration, encouragement, compassion and empowerment, which ALWAYS helps!)

For what type of professional woman are your services, experiences and courses NOT going to work for?

Please know that I am very selective in who I work with and I cherry-pick my clients, choosing to (gently) turn away people who aren’t suited for my experiences and won’t get results for which they have signed up for. (It wouldn’t be fair to them.)

My experiences are NOT for women who are highly skeptical and not open to allowing themselves to be honest and vulnerable with me. It’s been my experience that women who come in with their mind set on not fully being open and honest do not trust the recommendations I give them and do not do the work (probably because they are spending too much time worrying about what I may think of them or secretly believing that it won’t work for them.)

And my experiences are NOT for women who are not willing to put themselves first and put some things on pause so that they can work on creating a better self.

If you fall within this category, it’s absolutely OK. We’ve all been there in times where our fears hold us back from moving forward.

Do yourself (3) favors:

✓ Spend some time reflecting on past experiences that have caused you to feel distrustful and skeptical of new things. And get clear on what will happen if you continue to remain in this same space of confusion, overwhelm, bitterness and feeling like an Impostor at work or in your business.

Another type of person I won’t work with (without exception) is a person who chronically whines and makes excuses for not getting their assignments done or challenging every aspect of the experience. If you are one of these people, I gently and respectfully ask that you cancel your call and I hope you understand why. We’ll probably just not work well together and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time or money. Is that fair?

Does this really work?

Yes! The results of our work is an approach to overcoming your internal obstacles that, over time and with your dedication, works consistently to help you take confident action in your life, business and career thus allowing you to walk in your purpose, earn more money and create the vision that has been hiding within you for so long.

How quickly can I expect results?
